United Hospice of Rockland's (UHR) Dancing With Our Stars Gala 2014 was a huge success and raised over $165,000 for UHR! It was a sold out event and the largest ever with 350 attendees. The dancers were amazing and everyone enjoyed watching them during their dance performances on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at the Colonial Inn in Norwood, New Jersey. UHR’s 5th Annual Walk to Remember Raised Over $75,000

United Hospice of Rockland held its fifth Annual Walk to Remember, in conjunction with the Rockland Road Runners 25th Annual George Wodicka Hook Half Marathon, 5K Run and Kid’s Fun Run on Sunday, April 6 at Rockland Lake State Park. It was a beautiful spring morning that drew over 900 participants and raised over $75,000 to benefit UHR. Ellen Feit raised over $3,200 to win the Avanti Cup, awarded every year to the most successful fundraiser.
