On Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 5:30 pm, a 29 year old male pedestrian from Congers was struck by a passing motor vehicle on Rt 303 in West Nyack in the vicinity of the Palisades Center Mall. The male suffered severe but non life-threatening injuries to his legs and right arm. The pedestrian was transported to Nyack Hospital for treatment and subsequently transferred to Westchester Medical Center. The Clarkstown Police Department responded to a call that occurred in the past, of a possible luring of a child incident yesterday, April 23, 2014 at 6:20 PM in the area of Phillips Lane in west Nyack. The caller stated to the officer that she had heard of the luring incident reported by Orangetown Police department a few days ago. DWI in Nanuet Takes out Yet Another Utility Pole

On Saturday April 19, 2014 at approximately 11:40 AM, the Clarkstown Police Department responded to Highview Ave in Nanuet on a report of a single motor vehicle accident. A vehicle had struck a utility pole in the area of Highview Elementary School. The driver, Patrick Judge, 50, of Nanuet was interviewed and appeared to be intoxicated but was not injured.  He was unable to perform field sobriety tests. Spring Valley Woman Busted for Stealing $30,000 from Bank Customer

Marcia Campbell, 49, of Spring Valley, was arrested by the Clarkstown Police Department on December 18, 2013 for stealing over $30,000 from a bank account of a random customer of Key Bank located in New City, NY. Campbell was an associate at the bank at the time of the theft. Campbell was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd (Felony). Her case is ongoing in the Rockland County Court and will be presented to a Grand Jury later this month.

23 Year Old Bardonia Woman Takes out Sign & Tree; Arrested for DUI

On April 10th, 2014 at approx. 3:30am, Clarkstown Police responded to a reported one car accident on West Nyack Road in West Nyack. A vehicle had left the roadway and struck a "No parking Sign" and then a tree.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brooke Atzl, 23yoa, of Bardonia; she and a 19 year old female passenger were treated for minor injuries at scene and transported to Nyack Hospital for further medical evaluation.
