SOMS 7th grader Hannah Ahn has been awarded Gold Key recognition in the regional division of The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.  Over 300,000 works were submitted for entry to the competition nationwide.

Only the top 40% received any level of recognition.  Ahn has received the top honor and her work, kitchen harmony, created entirely out of paper, is currently being reviewed on a national level.  She is a student in teacher Arlene Sorensen’s 7th grade Challenger Lab.
