Nearly 80 Exciting Games over the Next 3 Months
The Ramapo Local Development Corporation announced today that Provident Bank Park, which is located in the Town of Ramapo, will once again host a series of college and high school baseball games this year.
After the weather warms up and the snow clears, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Nyack College, and Dominican College will play a total of nearly sixty games at Provident Bank Park. In addition, Provident Bank Park will host twenty high school baseball games throughout April and May, which will feature top high school teams from across Rockland County, Westchester County, Orange County, Northern New Jersey, and New York City. All of the games are open to the public and admission is free of charge.
“We are delighted that our local colleges and high schools will once again be taking the field at Provident Bank Park this spring,” said Ramapo Local Development Corporation President Christopher P. St. Lawrence. “These games are a great addition to our lineup at the stadium, and we look forward to another terrific season of professional, college, and high school baseball in the Town of Ramapo.”
The stadium is home to the Rockland Boulders, an independent professional baseball team that plays in the Can-Am League. In addition, the stadium also hosts the Ramapo Summer Concert Series. Over the past several years, an array of musical stars have graced the stage at Provident Bank Park, including Darius Rucker, Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, The Beach Boys, Lee Brice, Tyler Farr, Emblem3, MKTO, Carly Rose Sonenclar, Matt Nathanson, Gretchen Wilson, The Charlie Daniels Band and 38 Special, Big & Rich, Jay Black, Jay Siegel’s Tokens, and Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals.
