UGG!! Congers Man Busted in Suffern for Domestic Boot Burning

Defendant:  Sean Nazario: 28 yrs. old, 1 Lamborn Ave., Congers, NY.

Details: Yesterday at approximately 11:30 AM the Suffern Police Department responded to a residence on Highland Ave. for a report of a violation of an order of protection. When officers arrived they were met by the complainant who stated that her estranged boyfriend, who she has an active stay away order of protection against, came to her house. While at the house the defendant did an extensive amount of damage to her property.

This damage included breaking multiple items in the home as well as throwing bleach on several pieces of the complainants clothing and furniture. In addition to this he is accused of lighting an Ugg’s boot that belonged to the complainant on fire as well, destroying same.

He was taken into custody and while being processed it was learned that he was on probation here in Rockland County for a past drug conviction.

He was arraigned and sent to the Rockland County Jail on bail with a return court date of January 30th in Suffern Justice Court.

Charges:  Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, Arson 5th degree.
