November 17, 2014 – Suffern, NY – Ramapo Dental Care, located at 29 North Airmont Road in Suffern, NY donated over 80 pounds of candy to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization that sends care packages to our dedicated troops overseas.

The practice chose to participate in the Halloween Candy Buy Back Program to help parents limit the amount of candy their child keeps after Halloween, while also educating them on preventative care for their teeth, and the experience of giving to a great cause to support our troops. The practice also sent hand-written letters and pictures to the troops from the children who donated their Halloween candy.

Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in hostile regions, to their children left behind and to Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors and their Care Givers. Their mission is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member’s face and express to our Armed Forces the appreciation and support of the American people.

Ramapo Dental Care is a multi-specialty practice, including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implants and emergency dentistry. Please visit the Ramapo Dental Care website at www.ramapodentalcare.com for more information or to schedule an appointment.
