Update: Palisades Mall Fatal Fall

On Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10:21 AM the Clarkstown Police Department responded to the Palisades Mall in the area of Best Buy for a male who had fallen from the third floor.

 

The male, 54, was pronounced deceased from the injuries suffered from the fall. The male was a resident of the New York Foundling group home, based out of 590 Avenue of The Americas, NY, NY. The name of the male is being with held at this time pending notification of the next of kin.

 

As the investigation continues, preliminary evidence shows that this appears to have been a tragic accident. The group of 1 staff and 3 individuals were on a habilitation day trip, getting the group out into the community. As information becomes available it will be released accordingly.
