“Team Aney Paul”

“Adopt a Road” Cleanup Effort

Saturday, August 23, 2014

9 am to 11 am

New City, NY (August 20, 2014)  – Rockland County Legislator Aney Paul and a volunteer crew will gather again to participate in a cleanup effort along the two-mile stretch of County Route 35A from New Clarkstown Road to Route 59, Spring Valley.  Legislator Paul adopted the stretch of county road earlier this year through the Rockland County Highway Department’s Adopt-a-Road Program.

“Our crew worked very hard during our June outing to pick up the trash along the road,” said Legislator Paul, “and I am so grateful for their participation.  We received many supportive and encouraging toots and hollers from passing motorists. I hope our efforts are appreciated and result in the proper disposal of trash and debris, going forward.   I welcome anyone that wishes to join the effort on Saturday August 23.”

Anyone wishing to join “Team Aney Paul” and her volunteers from 9:00 am to 11:00 noon on the 23rd can contact her at PaulA@co.rockland.ny.us or (845) 638-5100.  For more information about the Great American Cleanup and Keep Rockland Beautiful can visit the website: www.keeprocklandbeautiful.org or call (845) 708-9164.
