Gibson Bus to be at Ramapo College for the Les Paul Gala!

On Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., The Mahwah Museum is hosting The Les Paul 99th Birthday Gala and celebration of Rock&Roll at The Trustees Pavilion at Ramapo College of New Jersey.  There will be a live auction that will also be available for bidding on line via AuctionZip, an internet auction service.  Participate in the auction from any computer anywhere. The Gibson Factory Bus will be in at the college for the Gala. Speak to a Gibson representative and play some very special Gibson guitars.

The Gala will include also live music with Bucky Pizzarelli, Ed Laub and Lou Pallo, a silent auction of Les Paul memorabilia, wine, hors d’oeuvres, light fare and birthday cake will be served, and a raffle drawing for three autographed guitars will be held.  Raffle tickets are $25, Gala tickets are $25 and can be purchased at, or at the Mahwah Museum, 201 Franklin Turnpike, on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 1 and 4 pm.

Also showing at the Museum is an exhibit called “The Neighborhoods of Mahwah: 1913-2013.”  This exhibit examines the history and cultural traditions behind the many diverse neighborhoods in the sprawling 26 square mile community known as Mahwah.

The Museum is open weekends and Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m.  The permanent exhibit “The Donald Cooper Model Railroad” is open on weekends only from 1-4 p.m.  Admission to the Museum is $5 for non-members; children and members free.  For information on these and other events, visit or call 201-512-0099.
