Welcome to the New Ramapo Times and Rockland Star Websites

After months of planning, building and even dealing with some of our sites being hacked, we’re finally ready to launch our new sites on an entirely new platform with cyber security a priority.

Our goal as always, has been to connect communities with hyper-local, relevant content.  We’re adding curated content from around the Internet that we feel will be of interest to readers as well.  With our new platform the information is readily available and easily shareable via social media.

The sites are essentially done.  There is some minor housekeeping to be done and a punch list of connections still to be made but for the most part, here we are!

Going forward as we expand, new sites will be sub domains of the Community Powered News Network.  The Rockland Star link (www.rocklandstar.com) will take you directly to the site as will the Ramapo Times link (www.ramapotimes.com).  An archive of the former Ramapo Times site will be available soon. Our Site for Mid-Coast Maine will be launched very soon and it the coming months we will be added sites in various parts of the country.

Any aspiring journalists out there or do you just want to share your opinion?  We invite community members to send us stories, blogs, event information (press releases no flyers please) Letters to the Editor, photos, videos and anything else that you feel would be of interest to people in the community.  Email us at: newsdesk@internetworkmedia.com

We have five simple rules:

Tell us who you are.

Keep it clean.

Keep it fair.

Keep subjective personal attacks to yourself.

Attack the issue, not the individual.
